Looking for under 21 activities in Downtown Fargo? Look no further! We’ve created the ultimate under 21 downtown experience list! From late-night hangout spots to a run club and axe throwing and ice cream and coffee, there’s an unlimited number of things to do downtown!

Late Night Hangouts: Board Games & Axe Throwing

  • Black Coffee & Waffle Bar – Open until 9:30 pm Monday – Saturday, 7 pm Sunday
    • Snag a chair and play some of your favorite classic board games! No worries, we’re 99% positive Jumanji isn’t an option
  • Replay Games – Open until 10 pm Tuesday – Thursday, midnight Friday – Saturday, closed Sunday – Monday
    • They’ve got GameCube, Wii, GameBoy, all the PS systems, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, more games than you can imagine! They are beyond cool so go check them out! P.S. They have snacks!!
  • Rough Cut Social – Monday – Thursday 5:00 pm – 10:00, Friday 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am – 10:00 pm, Sunday 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm
    • Axe throwing, Giant Jenga, Bags, Hammerschlagen and more!

The Arts

  • Plains Art Museum
    • FREEBIE ALERT: The Plains Art Museum has 3 floors of art and admission is completely free! They also have art classes that fill up quickly so get your spot now!
  • Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre
    • Catch a FMCT production at The Stage at Island Park! You can find their event schedule on their website.
  • Fargo Theatre
    • Catch a flick at the Fargo Theatre and if you are a student, tickets are only $8 with student ID
  • Unglued Craft Events
    • Unglued always has rad crafting events and many are for all ages!
  • Art Galleries

Physical Activities



Channel your inner Village People and have fun at the Y! Snag yourself a Youth Day Pass (24 and under) for $10. Try your hand at racquetball or take it easy in the sauna. Check out their other amenities here.


Beyond Running Run Club

While it might not be everyone’s thing, for those who do love to run can join Beyond Running’s Run Club! Get your run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm all year at the Downtown location – rain or shine!

Under 21 Hours: Accompanied minors are allowed in the taproom until 8 pm

Fargo Brewing Company
Under 21 Hours: Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is 21 or over.
