In 2018, the Downtown Community Partnership executed 4 events utilizing the DCP-E permit; Street Fair, 2 Corks and Canvas and Winterfest. The DCP-E permit suspends the open consumption during select DCP events which means adults can explore a defined route with a cocktail or beer in an approved DCP labeled cup.
What is the DCP-E permit?
This permit is issued by the city auditor, for a specific DCP event that is open to the general public and is held on designated public property, private property or both public and private property, including public rights of way.
Alcohol vendors are approved through the DCP and are provided specific cups, wristbands and signage. Watch for more DCP-E events in 2019.
