Activities for the Kiddos:
Audubon Trail
START: The Slough Discovery Experiences (2nd Ave near Roberts Alley)
Photo Op! Take a pic next to the micro-prairie created with native flowers
LAST STOP: Pioneer Prairie Nature Park
Hop on the carriage rides pulled by horses from the Pop-Up Discover Experience to the Pioneer Prairie Park
Interact with historical interpreters, such as Private Gibson of the Lewis and Clark Expedition
Learn how to shoot a bow and arrow (ages 8+)
Help out our local population of bees while restoring the prairie by planting native flowers
BONUS: want to continue the educational fun? Grab a Prairie Passport for an adventurous scavenger to continue your journey across the prairie from the Nature Fargo-Moorhead tent out to Pioneer Prairie Nature Park. Follow along with the scavenger hunt to fill your passport with stamps at a variety of locations. Collect all the stamps and you’ll find some treasure – adventure awaits!
Cartoon Central:
Kiddos need a place to cool down and take a break? The Fargo Theatre will be playing cartoons all Friday, July 19th from 10:00-3:30 in Theatre 2. Each show is approximately 26 mins long *No outside food allowed
