Frostival: An Event That Makes Cold Cool!

January 25th and 26th 2019

This year Marks the 4th season of Frostival, a winter festival put on by the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau. January can be a harsh time of the year for those of us up north but it also provides opportunities to experience activities only available during the cold winter months. Frostival is a time to come together and celebrate the cold and showcase all the fun things the cold and snow provides us. This year Frostival has 4 hubs of activities, 2 of those being in beautiful downtown Fargo. We have the Basecamp on Broadway and Icicle Island in Island Park. Both of these camps will have activities for the whole family including skating, sledding, competitions, and live entertainment. You can see the full schedule of event by clicking here.

While downtown be sure to check out one of the family friendly restaurants to get a bite to eat between activities.

If you need a bit of caffeine or coca to warm you up and keep you going visit one of the many exceptional coffee shops downtown.

Parking for the events: There will be many places to park Friday night and Saturday on Broadway and the surrounding streets. My favorite places that get you parked closest to the action are below. For all area parking click here.

Closest to Icicle Island: The Island Park ramp is directly across the street from the skating rink and less than a block from Island park.

Closest to Base Camp: Roberts Commons Ramp and Civic Center Ramp are both about a block and a half from Base Camp and are free on weekends. When you park in the Civic Center Ramp you can take the heated skyways to Broadway and get great views of downtown!

WE hope to see you at Frostival
