The Downtown Fargo Gift Card turns one!

December 12th officially marks the first year of making Downtown gifting easy! The Downtown Fargo Gift Card Program was implemented in December of 2017 and can be redeemed in a variety or restaurants, bars, services, retailers and entertainment. The program began with 32 locations accepting the card and has expanded to almost 70 Downtown businesses.

Since the inception of the program over 1,500 cards for a total of $60,000 have been sold.

The card is a closed loop system which means that all the money on the cards support Downtown retailers, the money stays in the local economy and supports small businesses. This program provides the ideal present for employees, volunteer appreciation, special occasions and holidays and are offered for purchase year round.  Cards can be purchase at The Downtown Community Partnership office, the Radisson front desk, Fargo Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as online at downtownfargo.com.

The Gift Card Program is just another way that the Downtown Community Partnership has chosen to invest in the community to support the vibrancy of downtown and help businesses in downtown thrive. The mission of the Downtown Community Partnership (DCP) is to bring together and support the businesses, promoters, advocates, and visionaries of historic Downtown Fargo and its future by connecting and partnering within our community and beyond.

The Downtown Fargo Gift Card Program is one of the many projects led by the Downtown Community Partnership to promote, enhance and preserve the heart of Fargo. This project was made possible by the financial support of Kilbourne Group, Bell Bank, Fargo-Moorhead Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, and Great Northern Bicycle Company.
