Richard H. Barry Hall, NDSU’s third downtown facility, opened in 2009 as home to the College of Business, Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics, North Dakota Trade Office and Center for Global Initiatives and Leadership. The 135,000 square-foot building features 12 conference rooms, two-story atrium, 12 classrooms, 250-seat auditorium, six-story faculty office tower, several student study areas, behavioral lab, investment management center, Bison Connection student service center, branch of the NDSU Bookstore, branch of the NDSU Library and coffee bar. It is named after the late Richard H. Barry (1909-1988) who was a renowned financial consultant and economic catalyst.
