NDSU Klai Hall
In 2008, Klai Hall became NDSU’s second academic building located downtown. It houses Department of Architecture and Landscape Architecture studios, classrooms, model shop, computer lab, laser cutter facilities and library. The building previously served as office space for Lincoln Mutual Insurance. The building is named after John Klai who graduated from NDSU in 1978 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He specializes in the design of gaming, resort and hospitality projects, including high-rise residential.
